Jennifer Langford has provided neighborhood and urban design through her company Jennifer Langford, AIA, CNU, PA as well as more traditional residential, commercial, mixed-use building design services since 2001. Jennifer graduated from the University of Florida, then studied at the University of Virginia for her Masters of Architecture with a specialty in New Urban Design. After graduation, she was quickly hired to assist in development of the award-winning Haile Plantation Village Center.
After licensure she developed her own firm, and has since amassed a respected and varied portfolio, in addition to serving as town architect for the Brytan TND, serving on the architectural review committee for Haile, and assisting local government in a facilitator role for urban infill projects.
Nancey is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Interior Design and a minor in Packaging Science. Nancey's past professional experience has included working with textiles (costume designer, sewing/quilting instructor), and computer lab software/hardware testing, training and management.
Sustainability and the building industry's impact on the environment are important factors in both her career and personal life, and she is actively working towards a goal of generating zero landfill waste and reducing energy & water usage at home and at work. She is also a Florida Water StarSM certifier and a member of her local USGBC Chapter.
Ian spent eight years in the U.S. Air Force as a communications technician and supervisor. Active duty service helped him develop leadership skills and a healthy sense of humor. He also earned an Associate's Degree in Technology Systems and his Security+ Certification.
As an avid futurist Ian looks for any opportunity to work toward making the world a more chrome-plated and sustainable place. At the Sustainable Design Group, when he isn't making and consuming serious amounts of coffee or quoting Fight Club, he helps with system administration and engineering. He is also pursuing an HVAC technician certification and a mechanical engineering degree.
